A very scholarly manuscript explaining Economic Sanctions thoroughly. A great addition to your library.

This book provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal and regulatory aspects of economic sanctions and how they can serve public policy objectives. The discussion of how economic sanctions apply to corporations and third party business entities is particularly good. The analysis of how terrorists use corporate structures and the formal and informal financial system is illuminating and provides an important rationale for the use of targeted financial sanctions against non-state actors. It also provides an excellent critical analysis of unilateral and extraterritorial US sanctions and how they have generally failed to achieve their policy objectives. It is well researched and written. I highly recommend it.
