About the Author

Dr. Warren W. Wiersbe is an internationally known Bible teacher and the former pastor of three churches, including the Moody Church in Chicago. For ten years he served as general director and Bible teacher for the Back to the Bible radio broadcast. Dr. Wiersbe has written more than 150 books, including the popular "Be" series of expositional Bible studies, which has sold more than four million copies. In 2002, he was awarded the Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. He and his wife, Betty, live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I'm enjoying going through the book of Proverbs slowly with Warren Wiersbe's help in "Be Skillful" His insight in what the Scripture as a whole teaches on the subjects dealt with in Proverbs, is very helpful, and applicable.

Very good commentary all points explained well. A good study guide for small groups fellowship.

This book is filled with easy to understand Skillful living. How did a man like Solomon who had such great wisdom end up being so foolish? A commentary like this is filled with just good basic instruction I would highly recommend this book for the person who wanted to learn the basic principles of living life well.

What a great study on Proverbs. Wiersbe always gets me thinking and encourages me to make positive changes. I have a deeper understanding of Solomon’s gift of being wise.

Excellent book to study as a group; particularly men. A faith-based study program for people struggling to find their way in life.

What is not to.like 👍about an extensive intro with clear maps and lovely photos!. Thanks. Anxious to visit in early August!

The book was great for the price. Complete with places to eat and stay depending on your budget.

The hikes were really clear and easy to follow, which you would expect from a hiking guide. What I really enjoyed was the section at the start recommending places to stay and eat, when to go, etc. The chart was a little hard to read, but that was probably just because I was reading on my kindle. The maps were good and I would recommend this to any one. It's easier to bring my kindle than a bulky guide book!
